Legalinc was founded in 2014 as an online legal service by Erik Treutlein and Ben Johnson. The company was created to address local law firms’ and accountants’ struggle to deal with mounting paperwork because of slow-moving state agency websites, inconsistent compliance notifications, and manual paper-based processes.
